Azra AI’s technology increases patient retention 58% by using artificial intelligence to identify, classify and abstract cancer diagnoses and primary tumor sites from all pathology reports in real time. Azra technology also reviews all radiology reports for multiple incidental findings sites for potential issues such as lung nodules. This automated workflow allows for faster time to treatment, more patient interaction, and less time searching for patients to navigate. Results from our peer reviewed research shows how navigation programs can: • Triple growth rate of oncology volume • Save 1,000s of hours per quarter of manual review by nurses • Reduce time to treatment up to 7 days

Over the last 10 to 20 years, cancer centers have worked to scale their facilities and operations to meet the needs of their communities. However, many programs are now at capacity, and cancer care leaders need to decide how to advance their programs over the next decade as patient needs and expectations change and technological and clinical capabilities continue to evolve. There are several areas of opportunity for cancer center leaders to consider as they pioneer a “cancer program for the future.” In this presentation, we will explore how to drive ambitious change to ensure programs continue to bring cutting-edge and highly patient-centered care to the diverse communities they serve. Key takeaways/learning objectives from this session will include the following: • Patient Navigation: Understand navigation models that improve access to care and the overall patient care experience. • Health Equity: Explore current efforts to address the impacts of racial health equity and social determinants of health on patient access to cancer screening, treatment, and research services. • Alternative Care Models: Discuss opportunities for transitioning care to alternative settings and adopting alternative care models (e.g., home-based infusion). • Performance Optimization: Discuss strategies to increase capacity and access without adding infrastructure, chairs, or staff. • Academic Partnerships: Explore models for community and academic partnerships and business strategies that can be utilized to select the most appropriate care delivery model for patients and providers. • Digital Front Door: Identify strategies to increase patient access points, enhance information sharing, and offer more remote services.
