oncology virtual forum
The COVID-19 pandemic disrupted cancer screenings, care delivery and research. But the disease did not slow down. Experts anticipate patients will seek treatment for more advanced-stage cancers than in the past, and oncology centers across the U.S. are making preparations. Clinicians and researchers are also redesigning the cancer patient journey, developing more sophisticated therapies and relying on cutting-edge technology to take cancer treatment to the next level. During this event, oncology leaders from top institutions will gather for high-level discussions about the industry and what will happen next.
Bhavesh Shah, Senior Director of Hematology and Oncology and Specialty Pharmacy at Boston Medical Center
Katie Struck, System Vice President and Chief Administrative Officer of Oncology at Rush University System for Health
Ken Komorny, Chief Pharmacy Officer at Moffitt Cancer Center
Karen Ignagni, CEO of EmblemHealth

How an integrated, digital tumor board tool reduced preparation time and case postponement rates in first, large prospective study
NAVIFY® Tumor Board demonstrated positive impacts in the preparation and conduction of a tumor board during a multiyear study with the Ellis Fischel Cancer Center at Missouri Healthcare. Data was collected prospectively before the use of NAVIFY® Tumor Board (phase 1) through stable integration with the platform (phase 4). Data was collected across the breast, GI, hematopathology and ENT tumor boards looking at the following user groups across the institution: nurse navigators, pathology residents, radiologists and geneticists.
