The healthcare competitive landscape is changing and if you aren't preparing for a world of consumerism, direct contracting, shifting payment models, etc., you are going to fall behind. Modern, holistic finance teams know that to survive in today's environment while preparing for the future, they need to incorporate data from across their business, particularly revenue cycle and cost data that likely exists in silos and may not even exist at a granular, functional level. Regardless, understanding the true cost of care, revenue implications of investment and growth efforts, market share, and impacts of pricing decisions, will increasingly determine which health systems are able to fulfill their mission to better the health and wellbeing of the communities that they serve. Join Adam Ziegel, Senior Director of Product Management at Health Catalyst, for an overview of healthcare’s evolving financial landscape and tactics and strategies that you can implement to adapt, grow, and thrive.

As a provider organization, you are acutely aware of the challenges that come along with prior authorization while at the same time the vital role they play in patient care. Today, the complex and manual authorization process can take up to 33 minutes for providers to complete causing administrative burden and delays in patient care. Join Change Healthcare’s Andrew Johnson, Vice President of Electronic Prior Authorization, in a conversation around the landscape of prior authorization today, what the future for prior authorization looks like and how we get there as an industry. He will discuss how intelligent automation like RPA, AI, ML is necessary to reduce the manual burden to your staff while at the same time being able to work by exception. For those authorizations that cannot be automated, and to help alleviate Covid related staffing shortages, strategic services are an important part of your workflow for a full end-to-end prior authorization process. Solving for prior authorizations will require interoperability and the industry to adopt standards like FHRI, HL7 and Da Vinci. You won’t want to miss this session and gaining a better understanding of how you stack up with other providers around authorization and what you can be doing today to position yourself ahead for the future.

The technology powering today's smart hospitals delivering immediate ROI
The size and complexity of healthcare facilities often make it easy to lose organizational control over workflows, but location data can solve that for any facility. Real Time Location Services and the Internet of Things (IoT) are powerful technologies enabling healthcare organizations to achieve new levels of operational efficiency while also improving the patient experience and clinical outcomes.
