Putting patients first and transforming the care experience
From patient experience to pandemic response initiative, Alberta Health Services’ (AHS) patient-first philosophy with the power of Jamf transformed the way patients and families communicate and receive care from providers. In this case study, you’ll see how AHS used Jamf Pro and telehealth solutions to: Execute digital setup, wipe and reset workflows for shared iPad — all without IT physically handling devices Leverage technology as the conduit to provide a better patient experience Supports care providers, patients and families through telehealth to conserve PPE, conduct virtual rounds and reduce social isolation Read the Jamf case study for the full AHS story.
Secure SD-WAN for Healthcare: Enabling the Latest Advances in Patient Care While Protecting Against Cyberattacks
A secure software-defined wide-area networking (SD-WAN) solution addresses these issues by integrating networking and security capabilities across the WAN edge, access layer, and endpoints. In this way, Fortinet Secure SD-WAN and SD-Branch solutions are able to provide advanced visibility, security, and protection for today’s rapidly expanding and evolving healthcare networks.
UT Health San Antonio's journey to greater operational efficiency — An enterprise imaging case study
Last year, leadership at University of Texas Health San Antonio made the decision to move all inpatient imaging onto a new enterprise imaging platform. Their goal was internal consolidation. The leaders' case for making the move was airtight: Imaging consolidation would represent a sizeable step toward getting the entire health system to work like a unified enterprise instead of a patchwork of siloed groupings. However, reactions among the 60 or so members of the radiology department were unsurprisingly mixed. Still, the health system persisted, and their efforts yielded substantial success.
